My first postcard from Central African Republic arrived to my mailbox on June 16th 2016 thanks to Esther, very honest and decent swapper and humanitarian worker. CAF is unfortunately a war-torn country, suffering long years from autocratic rule and recently so called Bush War still going on since 2003 with South African troops intervening. Many thousands people suffered and were displaced because of this violent civil conflict. Every time I enlarge my collection to include such rare country from the Postcrossing point of view, I always feel prompted to appeal again for my viewers to get involved in humanitarian support.
